Falling off!!

Greetings!

Time flies by! I can’t believe it’s been four months since I’ve blogged. But I guess the saying is true, “Time flies when you’re having fun!” These past few months have definitely been eventful. I’ve been having a blast with my family and friends. God has truly been good to me.

I can honestly say that I’m dealing with the loss of my precious Sydney Chance better than I was. Now don’t get me wrong, I have bad days but lately the good have been outweighing the bad. Because of the foundation that I have. My soul has been anchored and I’m able to see the blessings and the purpose. I still miss her but…. I’m happy for her.

My family and I went on a cruise to Cozumel back in August. We had a blast!!!! I had moments when I truly missed my baby but guess what? She made her presence known! I saw a butterfly in the MIDDLE of the ocean!! The tears fell but I was glad to see it. It let me know that’s she’s never far from me. What a blessing!

Then we dived into preparing for Chance’s 4 mile Fun Walk!! Now I had NO IDEA that it would take that much energy and time. Sweat and tears to put it together. We had it on her 4th birthday and it turned out absolutely wonderful!!! The support system I had was the best. They put up with the mood swings, confusion, craziness, etc! So many people supported the event. And I really appreciate that. My dear father made sure that our efforts were recognized and now September 28th will be Sydney Chance Bowles Day! Look at God!! How many people have days named after them? I don’t know but my pretty baby does!!!

The event turned out GREAT!!! I need to recognize the ones that really helped me. Natassha Works- you are an absolute Angel. I’m truly convinced of that now!! You worked your butt off from beginning til the end! I’m very appreciative of you!!! Susan Helms from Leboneur- I thank you for seeing my vision!! My Mom, Dad and brother’s- you listened to me rant and cry. I fussed and complained and you let me. I love you all! Travis-You were definitely my rock… and thank you for the beautiful cake you bought and the donation from your business! Love you… My Aunts- you came out and helped set up. Aunt Lynn walked and took pics while crying at the same time lol!!! Aunt Carolyn- you held down the tables!! Great job! Aunt Shirley- you drove three hours to hang out for two! Thank you! My Uncles- your support means everything! My cousins- you guys always come through! It’s too many of you all to name!! Coworkers- Ilene, Shanetta and Pam-everyday I had a new complaint or story but you listened each time. Making me laugh through the years! Thank you. I had lots of businesses that donated. SAIA, Methodist Healthcare, Mt Pilgrim and New Mt Pisgah. Dr’s Wah and Denton, Nationwide Insurance, Lennys, Panera Bread, Marion Pediatric, etc! DJames Rogers-Thanks for the bouncers!! Twin-Thanks for the tables! Jason- the pics came out awesome!!
